Currently in: Lakeland, FL

Despite not getting to ‘say goodbye’ to Ohio before the trip from my Canadian home, Toronto, to my new American home of Lakeland, my transition to sunny Florida has been smooth. I lived in Central Florida for a short time as a teenager and love the warm weather, so it’s a perfect fit.

Day trips to: Orlando, FL & Daytona Beach, FL

My family and I went to Orlando this past weekend to visit Disney’s EPCOT and hit a couple outlet stores. I’ll be posting about the trip soon!

Next up will be Daytona Beach, later this month. I’ve driven through Daytona (Greyhound’s schedule from Jacksonville to Orlando has a stop here), but never actually spent time there! It’s one of my step dad’s favourite beaches, so it’s bound to be amazing. Have you ever been?

Next: Atlanta, GA

At the end of September, my mom and I will be heading back to Canada to spend time with friends, work on our business and enjoy crisp Autumn weather… But not without a couple days’ stop in one of my favourite cities: Atlanta, GA. My mom has never been, and I’ve only been to Atlanta once, so it will be an amazing opportunity.

And then: Toronto, ON, Canada

My (Canadian) home sweet home! I can’t wait to hug my cats, have brunch with good friends and see the leaves change colours.
